I find it pretty hard to write about flowers. I love their shapes, their colours, their variations, their deceptive simplicity. There must be a way of working this into prose without it becoming too… prosaic?

Good choice. I discovered my copy when I ducked into a second hand bookshop to escape a rainstorm in York a couple of years ago. It’s a gorgeous book I hope you enjoy it.
